I finally finished a project. I'm very pleased with the way they look. Just the way I wanted. To all of my MHH friends, whew. Aren't you glad they're done? Okay, let me think. What next?

I know I'm very neglectful of this blog and I'm sorry. I wish I was more creative on here and had the time to do more but I'm not and I don't. There are so many people out there that know how to do so much on blogs. I envy them. Well anyway. I've been baby sitting for my son the last couple of weeks and my grandson who is 2 years old, shares my love for the holidays. Yesterday we celebrated Christmas in July and I just had to share our snowman project with you. He loved doing it. The table ended up getting covered with glue but it was a quick clean up deal.

Something different for our Halloween

I decided to do something a little different this year. I thought I might try this little ghost theme for the trees. they looked kind of cute so I decided to share them with everyone. My husband is getting the other things cleaned up and repainted for his set up. More Halloween pictures coming soon.

I wanted to change my bedroom a bit. I usually have dark colors in there and I thought I would lighten it up a bit. I love the look. The room looks bigger. I never had anything striped before. There is a hope chest that was my mother-in-laws and I put a plant on it, a scented candle, and a small water fountain. I put sheer curtains up and replaced the deep burgundy ones that were there. The picture replaced three pictures with pink flowers and a burgundy background. It has a very relaxing atmosphere.

Buddy passed away on May 14 2009. He made lots of friends and loved company. He will be sadly missed by many.

this is the bag that I've been working on for my car. I love it. I've had a lot of compliments on it, so I plan to make a couple for Christmas gifts.

Well, Christmas really came up on us fast. I didn't get a chance to decorate like I usually do or anything. My family will be here soon and we will get to see our grandson opening his presents on his first Christmas. We can't wait. My younger son and his girlfriend will be here soon also and we are planning a nice family dinner. My husband is the cook. I did my baking last night. I'll be posting some pictures later on. Tomorrow we are going to Ct. to his sisters to spend time with his family and a bit of time with some of mine. Maybe I'll have some good pictures from that visit. Merry Christmas everyone!!!

I made my niece Dominique her costume this year . Her and her brother Salvatore are like grandchildren to me and my husband. I love to sew for her.

Every year at this time, my sil comes up from Ct. to take my husband and me out for dinner for our anniversary. While she is here, we go to the craft stores and find some project to work on. She usually makes a new wreath for me for the holidays. This year we didn't get much of anything fro projects but when we got home, I showed her my fall items that I got last year. I told her to create. She did. I just love this look. You really can't appreciate it in this picture. the lighting isn't good. In the dark it looks beautiful. The leaves have glitter on them and the lights I just got from Joann's. They're yellow,gold and brown. I never saw those colors together before in mini lights.

I just love the style of these chairs. I got two of them. I don't know what to paint them. I'll have to think about it. They are in my very messy craft room right now waiting to get attention. I got two of them.

Well I know it's been awhile since I posted but time has really been zooming. I'm trying to get things down around the house that I haven't been able to do for awhile. I'm getting there. I finally have a chance to show you the great finds I got at the tag sale I mentioned here they are

So often I would look on other blogs and see the beautiful items other people got from tag sales or second hand shops . Some items they could redo to give them the cottage look. I have been so envious of these people because around where I live, you just don't find those things. Not until today anyway. My son and his wife decided to take a ride and stop at some tag sales. They called and invited me to go. Well, not far from my house there was a tag sale in a small barn type of garage. Oh my goodness, I hit the mother load. There was so much fabric and patterns and old jewelry and linens. I was so excited. It was almost time for the tag sale to close and I ran out of money. As it happened to work out, the lady having it works with me at school and she held the items for me that I wanted and I will get them tomorrow. When I get them I will post pictures. I can't wait!!

I went to the Washington County Fair this weekend with my oldest son Shane and his wife Eva and my grandson Sebastian. the sun was in the poor baby's face and we tried to find a hat for him. This was the best we could do. He seemed to like it
